Coffee, tea, and conversation flow freely at this contemporary 1960s mod-style cafe and co-workspace. The decor, artifacts, and accessories give an honorable tribute to the building's former owner, CEO Vivian Green and her music empire, Vee-Jay Records (read my post 'Chicago's Queen of Soul: The Music Mogul of Vee-Jay Records'). Host a business meeting, or sit back and sip your favorite java, enjoy a delicious pastry while listening to the artists that once graced the halls of this historic site. If you're lucky, you might even catch an after-hours performance by a local artist. Overflow Coffee/MoxE Coworking (formerly Vee-Jay Records), 1449 S. Michigan Avenue.
